The Local Government of Balungao has garnered several awards, namely: The Cleanest, Safest and Greenest Town in Category B, Provincial Level, in 2011, then again in 2012.
Also, after clearing the remnants of the past, the Municipal Treasurer’s Office regained the confidence of the people and also won the award of 2nd Place for the Highest in Collection Efficiency in the entire Region I.
In view of transparency and good governance, Mayor Philipp G. Peralta delivered the State of the Municipality Address, concerning the condition of the Municipality for the fiscal year 2011 to 2012.
