March 9, 2023 is the First Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

The local government unit of Balungao, Pangasinan headed by Mayor Riza Rodriguez-Peralta through the MDDRMO under the supervision of Sir Cenon Luna, joined the 1st Quarter NSED around 2:00 PM that is mandated by the NDRRMC through the Office of Civil Defense.

The municipal employees including Mayor Riza observed the “Duck, Cover and Hold” practice during an earthquake, also giving emphasis to the importance of staying in place where people can avoid falling debris during and after an earthquake.

The NSED was joined by the members of BFP Balungao, Pangasinan headed by SFO4 Harry Carig.
