MUNICIPAL MAYOR MARIA THERESA R. PERALTA IS AWARDED AS A DEPUTIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF NATIONAL POLICE COMMISSION

We are proud to announce that our Hon. Mayor Ma. Theresa R Peralta is awarded by the NAPOLCOM RO 1 as a Deputized Representative of National Police Commission. The award is given today at our Municipal Hall by ATTY. GEORGE APLAS D. DASKEO, NAPOLCOM RO I Regional Director; ATTY. ARNOLD Q. MIÑA, Chairperson of the Regional Appellate Board I; ATTY. PHILLIP RAYMUND S. RIVERA, Provincial Officer for Pangasinan and Chief of the Regional Investigation Unit; and PMAJ GLENN M. DULAY, OIC Balungao Police Station.
The award is authorized under Section 64 of R.A. 8551, also known as the Philippine National Police Reform and Reorganization Act of 1998, automatically deputizes Governors and Mayors as representatives of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) upon their election and qualification. This deputation allows them to exercise operational supervision and control over the PNP within their respective jurisdictions.
