7th Region 1 Ecological Solid Waste Management Summit

The Office of Municipal Environment and Natural Resources received a recognition for having an “Effective Composting Activities and Programs in compliance with R.A 9003 known as Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000.” during the 7th Region 1 Ecological Solid Waste Management Summit at the Grand Monarch Hotel last June 27, 2023.
Mayor Riza Rodriguez-Peralta graced the event and received the award together with Ma’am Nancy B. Aligam of MENRO.
The San Aurelio National High School also received an award, the “Model School” for implementing Solid Waste Management Program in compliance with R.A 9003, and receiving the award was Ma’am Rosalina C. Savella, Principal I.
This award shows the continuous support of LGU to promote environmental awareness to people.
